How do I ensure a secure magnetic connection with my Aura Clutch Wallet?
The Aura Clutch Wallet is designed to work seamlessly with magnetic phones, magnetic cases, or non-magnetic cases fitted with an ESR Universal Ring.
- If you’re using a non-magnetic phone, pair it with a magnetic case or a standard case equipped with an ESR Universal Ring.
- If you’re using a magnetic phone, attach the wallet directly to the phone, or use it with a magnetic case.
How can I make sure the RFID blocking is working?
- Correct card placement: Always insert your payment or ID cards fully into the RFID-shielded slot so the chips are not exposed.
- Quick test: Place your card inside the wallet and try scanning it with your phone’s NFC function. If the card isn’t detected, the shielding is effective.
- Limitations: RFID shielding is designed to block high-frequency signals (13.56 MHz, used by most bank and transit cards). It may not block ultra-high frequency (860–960 MHz) or low-frequency (125–134 kHz) signals.
Can I charge my phone wirelessly with the magnetic wallet attached?
No. For wireless charging to work properly, the wallet must be removed before placing your phone on a wireless charger.
